I know one, in fact; she wrote fantastic het fanfic, and writes m/m pro. And hates that her pro stuff isn't mainstream enough to make people want to read it, since she writes fantasy/SF m/m, which isn't want m/m readers seem to want (but fandom does but doesn't seem to want to pay for m/m, so let's just round and round that vicious circle).

Actually, that sounds like it would be relative to my interests?

Like, I like m/m (and f/f) but I actually give zero fucks about cowboys and businessmen and athletes (BORING!), which was all I could find when I was looking for published m/m fiction.
