Holy shit! I saw that one when I was 10 - it scared the crap out of me then and it still does now. Some of those Twilight Zones scarred me for life.

HECK yes. Only Twilight Zone episode that I can remember actually terrified me. I even know what part really did it...the part where she's in the dream and the thermometer breaks and her painting is melting and everything.

That melting painting is embedded in my head for all time. And I can't decide which is worse - everything getting hotter or the twist at the end - everything getting colder.

And it wasn't only the old black and white episodes that did it to me, the seasons from the 1980's/90's also freaked me out.

That episode was called "The Midnight Sun", and you'd really have to watch it to understand why it scares the crap out of you. :D

"Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder" is my favourite one though. That one is a classic.
