Well, if she's a really nice person and you put a lot of effort into your works, I'm sure she won't hate you. ^_^ In fact I'm sure she'd be really happy to see some new material. So give it a try. At least you can say you tried. ^_^

The thing is, it always seems like the concept of that couple is something intimate and important for her. We've fangirled about it back when we talked on MSN, but I don't know.

Even so, she doesn't get to have a monopoly on the couple. I work with a very small niche couple that few people do. I think it's fun to see other people try and jump in. Even if they're not that good at it, you can always improve.

Maybe you could ask her to beta for you? That way she can read it and give you opinions and you can discuss what you've done and what you could do with them. And even still, don't be afraid to take them off in a different direction from hers. Be the one who strikes off into a new world!
