1. That's the best reason I've ever heard for someone wanting to be a BNF. Thumbs way up for you.
27. I wish mythology and folklore had a more noticeable fandom too. I would be incredibly happy if there was an Arabian Nights fandom. Sure, we'd have badfic and nobody would actually be able to write in the style of most translations, but those are perils I'd be willing to face. (Funny thing is, my favorite character in the original stories is also named Jafar. I'm a Jafar fan twice over.)
