What's Your Stand-By Happy Viewing?

For me whenever I'm blue or want to watch something that'll go down easy, I turn to Archer and Bob's Burgers. I can watch those episodes a hundred times.

Probably something really shippy. Fanvids or certain episodes that are especially ship worthy.

Daria and Futurama (the first four seasons; still haven't caught up with it after it got uncancelled). I've got all the episodes practically memorized and it's still so comforting.

The thing I watch that puts me in a good mood is Pushing Daisies.

The thing I can watch and rewatch ad nauseum is Criminal Minds. It's always on and I find it's entertaining without being involving (if that makes sense).

Also, Disney movies. I cycle through them but usually putting on a Disney or other cartoon makes me happy.

It used to be The Fast and the Furious movies but since Paul Walker died I haven't touched them.

Soooo, Hot Fuzz, Mulan, Kung Fu Panda, Legend of the Seeker, Stargate Atlantis, Lord of the Rings (though I always end up crying a lot), or shippy fanvids.

The first two Harry Potter movies, because the kids were so cute. I can watch those over and over.

I thought I had no answer to this, but further down, someone mentioned Disney's "Herbie the Love Bug" movies, and I realized, "Yes! This is what I can watch to cheer me up!"

Dick van Dyke and a live action anthro VW racing Beetle! What's not to love?

It depends on what kind of happy I'm looking for. If I'm feeling depressed, it is Doctor Who, particularly Vincent and the Doctor. If I've had a bad day, it is an epic movie, usually one of the Tolkien ones. If I just need a pick-me-up, something with nice eye candy like one of the MCU movies.

Blues Brothers! Always and forever that will be my favourite perfect movie!

Also, I definitely recommend watching Transformers Rescue Bots. Yes, it's a children's show, but it's a really cute and fun children's show with cute characters and lovely voices.

I used to watch happy anime in the morning before work, but now I watch stuff that will make me laugh like The Big Bang Theory or Sex and the City. I have no idea what happened.
