Blueberry or poppy seed.

We also had these muffins at my college that were vanilla but they were infused with an apple filling (kind of like the filling in a pie). Those were really good.

Don't like frosting though.

Agreed. Frosting belongs on cupcakes, never muffins.

I can go for a small amount of a glaze (like one you'd make with lemon juice + powdered sugar, on a lemon poppyseed muffin) on a muffin, but I do it just as a drizzle of thin lines on top, not a layer. Or infusing a plainer muffin with a syrup- I like to brush bran muffins with a syrup of cooked down freshly-squeezed (and strained!!) OJ, 1 TB orange liqueur + 2 TB sugar.

But I would never "frost" a muffin. That's just silly.
