It's not exactly a job I like (it's retail/customer service and I'm very much not a people person), but the atmosphere here is so much better than any other workplace I've had that I'm rapidly warming up to it.

That's good. There really is something to be said for a job with a good atmosphere. I was kinda similar with my orthopedic shoe store job; it wasn't my passion or anything, but my coworkers were nice, and initiative was rewarded, so I grew to quite like it.
