Re: Everything you wanted to know about DID/multi, but were afraid to ask.
(Anonymous) 2015-01-26 01:43 am (UTC)(link)I didn't realise that certain types of medication could actually stop DID. What was that like? It must have been a bit scary.
Re: Everything you wanted to know about DID/multi, but were afraid to ask.
It was incredibly unsettling. We are used to being able to reach each other whenever we need, and having our head so QUIET was hugely unnatural. It felt... empty. (It didn't help that at least one system member was actively TRYING to communicate with the person locked out, and was really freaking out that he couldn't.)

(Anonymous) 2015-01-26 01:52 am (UTC)(link)On a semi-related note, I read your comics on dissociation and the Bad Day Book. Having been in a similar situation before, they were very touching. It's reminded me that I need to make my own Bad Day Book - just in case.

Aw, I'm glad those comics were helpful, anon! And yeah, we carry a copy of the Bad Day Book in our wallet for exactly that purpose. Very handy!
