And the answer is yes. For instance, Mac wasn't here when we studied Japanese, so he doesn't speak or understand a word of it. And he probably wouldn't be very good at it. Also, when he and Rogan were handling our grad school course load, he had a much harder time learning the material than Rogan did, and Rogan often had to tutor him.
For most of us though, we're alike enough to be able to pick up the same skills in roughly the same time, though our interest and natural aptitude might be different. I'm better with web design stuff, for instance, because Rogan gets frustrated too easily.

I figured aptitude and inclination would vary, and that makes a ton of sense of about not knowing how to something if you weren't there to learn it. Thanks for the answer!
