No, I just kind of made it up, but here are some approximate measurements:

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp rose water
1/4 cup milk, approximately

1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cardamom, ground
2 tbsp oat flour (ground rolled oats)
1 and 1/2 tbsp ground flax seed
2 tbsp hemp hearts
2 tbsp flaked almonds
2 tbsp whole wheat flour
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1 and 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 375F. Mix together dry ingredients- for flax seed and rolled oats, I find a simple coffee grinder works best, but make sure to grind them separately so they aren't over ground.

Cream butter and sugar, beat in egg, and add spices and rose water (substitute vanilla or orange extract if not available). Mix in dry ingredients alternating with milk; batter should be light and dry ingredients just incorporated- owing to the oat flour and hemp hearts it will look somewhat grainy, but don't worry- it isn't separated and will hold up to baking. Be careful not to over mix.

Spoon into muffin tins and bake 15-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Serve with raspberry preserves and extra butter or plain with chai.

These muffins are not overly sweet but do manage to pack in a few extra calories due to the higher omega 3 and 6 fatty acid content from the flax, hemp hearts, and almonds. They also have very high protein content due to the addition of nuts and oat flour, and are therefore a nicer option when you're looking for something sweet that still has nutritional benefits. :)

I hope you give these a try!
