I will say Alan Rickman was a perfect casting choice. I saw him in Galaxy Quest, and holy crap, he had long-suffering assholery down pat.

Well, I am certain there are also some people who draw him like this because they are beautifying him, it's probably more due to too many artists being very unexperienced with drawing different body types. You see it a lot. Individually their art looks really great, and it has some really great techniques too. But then when you look at their art as a whole, you start to realize they are all drawing the same sort of character. A lot of artists probably don't even realize they are doing it.

At least for that fanart, I get the feeling the heights were purposely done that way to make it clear that Sansa is an adult? Plus for the sake of framing, you'd want them to look more symmetrical, but I do agree the Hound could stand to look a lot more hulking.

Text: IDG why artists draw him as this short, slender man. Sandor Clegane is nearly 7 feet tall and built like an ox. He’s definitely taller than a teenage girl Look at his arm. How is his bicep roughly the same size as Sansa’s?

I know every artist wants to do their own interpretation of a character, but how much can you love this character if you want to completely change something so basic as his physical appearance?
