Who exactly is he bullying here?

He's not singling out any specific person, and I'm pretty sure dethtoll isn't in any position of power over the entire sporting world and/or fandom to be having any effect on them as a whole.

his responses are cruel and insulting. he's insulting their intelligence and then when he's called on it he just insults some more. how is that not bullying? he makes this place feel unsafe and attacks everyone who disagrees with him.

why haven't you banned him yet? he is ruining fandom secrets

If you want to argue it that way:

Your calling out of every possibly negative thing dethtoll says as "bullying" (often when it's not even negative) of victims that don't actually exist is trivializing actual bullying and probably doing more harm than dethtoll is. Other people will be less likely to bring things up for fear of being seen as another person that calls every little thing "bullying," and that helps less and harms more people in the long run.

It's also kind of telling how dethtoll is the only person you single out to follow around and report on for every trivial thing he says that isn't even directed at anyone. Plenty of people make snide remarks about plenty of fandoms, but you focus your attention on one person. Unless everyone is bullies, but you choose only to report one?

Please stop.

as the anon who first replied to him, i can definitively say that I do not feel he is bullying me or anyone, and i think it would be absurd to call what he's doing bullying.

what i am doing is not bullying, i want dethtoll to stop bullying. but he will never stop, so the only solution is for case to ban him.

just because you don't feel bullied doesn't mean it's not bullying. it's not okay for him to do that, and it's okay for you to feel attacked.

But I don't feel attacked. I think he's being a bit of a horse's ass with his opinions, but that's a very different thing. His conduct is well within the norms of online communities and I just don't see any particular hostility or animus, directed at myself or at anyone else.

I also find your insistence that he's a bully weird and, frankly, much more hostile and bullying than anything that dethtoll has done. He's a fine poster and you seem to be determined to drive him out for some reason. Please don't do that. Definitely don't do it in some kind of supposed defense of me.
