GGG is governmentgetsgirlfriends. He believes the government should subsidize his getting a girlfriend, has apparently beaten the shit out of his parents for not helping him get a girlfriend or have sex with him, and was furious that HE got arrested and not them. He is also, unfortunately, totally earnest. (He was a troll for a while at the site I hung out on.)

Yeah, I find the very concept of 'involuntary celibacy' boggling. There aren't that many people I think who actively CHOOSE celibacy, unless they're in the priesthood or something.

It's like these people don't understand that sex with another person requires them to you know, WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU. Otherwise, it gets horrible fast! They just seem to think women are an obstacle to their genitals. Yech.

(I actually knew a guy somewhat like this. He whined constantly about being a virgin, and when I remarked that I would've loved to skip all the raping, he said, "WELL AT LEAST YOU GOT SOME." To which I sweetly responded, "and that, honey, is why you haven't gotten laid. Because your head is too far up your ass.")

Christ that's terrifying. That is definitely why they 'can't get laid'. The idea that women aren't human beings, but 'gatekeepers' to men's pleasure/selfworth isn't going to get you dates. Like, that they don't understand a woman won't want to 'bang' you if you treat her like shit is so beyond them.

Yeah. What made it even worse was that he made it pretty abundantly clear that he wanted ME to divest him of his virginity. (He thought I was a straight girl. Trololol.) All I can say is, not if he were the last guy on earth.

I am immensely glad that my relationship with my husband is awesome, so I learned what actual happy relationships are like. So I know that their bullshit excuses are just that: bullshit.

Enh, I knew he was a creep before that, and mostly hung out with him because I didn't realize I didn't HAVE to be around creepers like that if I didn't want to. I think at that point, I still kinda took it as a given people would treat me that way, even if I still thought it was gross.

I was more than happy to leave him behind though!
