For reasons, my ex and I used the same laptop. I got it when we split. I just found out that she's still a user on my computer, and I can't access any of her files or Drop Box, but they still exist on my computer. I don't care what's there, but I want to get rid of them so I have more space and speed.

Anyone know how to get rid of a user whose Apple ID info you don't have?

I am an admin on the computer, but I have no idea how to go about deleting her stuff, and the Google-fu is not strong in this one.

Specs as I know them: Mac Book Pro, 2011, 13" last updated... beginning of the month? Whenever the last prompt came out, which was definitely sometime this month...

I just deleted an account by just going to System Preferences > Users & Groups, clicking the lock to make changes, selecting the account, and hitting the minus sign at the bottom of the window. Does that not work for you?

I thought I had done that already. Turns out I didn't delete the home folder, and that's what needed doing.
