Nicki Minaj. I have nothing against her but I don't like mainstream pop/rap and don't put people on pedestal, my tumblr dash is filled with people calling her queen and draw certain characters as her.

This is one the things I try not to mind since this is fandom, people are just having fun. But. Shipping. Especially in Homestuck, the major one I'm in right now. Karkat having one line in a long dialouge between Terezi and John. JOHNKAT. John giving Terezi honest advice about Dave. JOHNDAVE. JOHN IS LIKE A JEALOUS BOYFRIEND, SO CUTE. Terezi touching Vriska's shoulder. VRISTER. These kids are 13 and 16, which just make it worse. I know people are just having fun, but most of the things I see after the most recent updates are just shipping, shipping, shipping. It kinda wears you down.

Hyperbole. Why can't people just make a good point without assuming everyone feel the same, or generalize a certain group of people.

I think I need other fandom spaces than tumblr.
