I know, that's same level as putting Japanese in your anime fanfic because you're an annoying weaboo.

As someone who knows both Russian and Japanese, I would geek out about that. Then I'd find it weird. (Of course, I also used other foreign languages in fan fics before, so I shouldn't judge. In my defense, my foreign phrases were always offered with a translation.)

I'm fluent in Japanese. When I see it used in a non-Japanese fanfic I just roll my eyes. (Unless its use actually serves a purpose, and it comes with a translation.)
