One of the main reasons I haven't deleted my LJ is because I don't want to give up the comm I run. That and there's a few people I really would miss a lot, and LJ's still way more personal than any other platform.

But sometimes I think I'd be happier if I deleted it, rather than just wait for it to be what it was eight years ago. Because that's never going to happen, and I'm going to just keep adding more people from friending memes who disappear after a few months.
