the discussion about sleeping with people yesterday made me worry about if i ever get into a relationship how awkward and gawky i'm going to be about that shit and whether i'm going to ruin it given how much i both have issues with and desire physical intimacy

Aww. It doesn't really matter that much, I promise. If the relationship is good, the small stuff isn't really going to break it.

Conversely, if you get into a relationship with someone who is really rabid about who sleeps where and all the superficial bits of the relationship instead of what really matters, you can probably take that as a good sign to cut and run.
