Lulz are pretty much the main reason I want her to go for the gold.

I currently live in an alternate universe where Barry Goldwater won the election, 90's-era John McCain won the nomination and the election, and John Huntsman won the nomination and the election after him. It's a glorious universe, filled with bootstraps, personal responsibility, and moaning liberals. Ahhh, paradise.

Yes, this is a good reason to vote for the Republican Party

because of three people, one of whom left office in 1987 and the other two of whom wouldn't be able to win a primary for dogcatcher in the modern Republican Party

I take back what I said. The liberals moan and whine in all the universes.

but iceyred your version of alternate universes makes no sense

it's like you've barely even thought about the reality of time travel

Man, I loved John Huntsman. It really says a lot about the Republican party that he had less support than Rick Freakin' Santorum though.

Really? I haven't seen any poll numbers yet. Then again I've been busy.

John Huntsman could return us to our glory days.

In my alternate universe he ran and won back in 2008.

So, what, he lost in 2012 and he's trying to pull a Grover Cleveland? Or he was so popular they repealed the 22nd Amendment?

He won in 2008. He won again in 2012. Now he is ready to leave office.

That's in the alternate universe. In the real world I am aware this did not happen (you poor, unfortunate souls). While he could still run, the fact is he's not. It's a very sad situation for everyone involved.

Yeah.

It's a shame the Republicans didn't nominate him.
