I'm considering moving to a different city because the person I love is. I've always made a big deal about not wanting people to follow me JUST for me, when I move (which has been a lot, for school and career) and now I want to do that very thing. I love him so much, and I don't want to stay here alone. /hypocrite

Don't do it. You'll regret it and end up resenting him if you hate the place or have a bad experience.
