Re: Tiny home invaders!

When I first moved out of my parents' house, I rented a duplex with two other women. A few weeks after we moved in, one of my roommates started getting bites all over her. At first, she thought they were just mosquito bites, since it was summer, but then she started getting them in places that she'd had completely covered. Turned out there were bed bugs in her room. Landlord wouldn't do anything about it. He claimed that they weren't there before, so we must have brought them in. But, no, we definitely hadn't. First of all, none of us had had a problem before moving into this place, and we all had mattresses that had been bought new years before. Second of all, the exterminator confirmed that the infestation was in the baseboards, not in any of my roommate's furniture.

Well, despite that, the Housing Authority wouldn't help us, because when they called him and he said that we must have brought them in, they took him at his word.

We wound up having to move after being there less than three months.

The ones you can't see are somehow more disgusting.

I'm sorry your landlord was a turd. What a horrible renting experience!
