I got my thumb caught in a rat trap when I was a kid so I'd be paranoid too.

I will admit we used the big sticky traps to kill baby snakes. Normally we would have left them, but they hatched under our house and were small enough to get inside. We called around but nobody would go under there and catch them. Also, they were Eastern Browns. Not cute little pythons. They can be aggressive little shits.

I just looked that up. "[S]econd most venomous terrestrial snake . . . known to cause diarrhea, dizziness, collapse or convulsions, renal failure, paralysis and cardiac arrest . . . notorious for its speed and aggression . . ."

And it's Australian, because of course it is.

They do this thing. They stand up in an 'S' shape and make a bitey face, and then they launch themselves forward at you. Idk if that picture will work but it's scary in person.

OH HERE. HAVE A VIDEO.

The first time this happened to me I was about 6 and cornered by one in the garage. I scream-cried and my dog came barreling around the side of the house and killed it. Parents were completely oblivious. Have a dog picture, just because.

I had a blue cattle dog like this, but with a curly tail (part basenji).
