I wouldn't say I shipped them, but I always felt Janice was made out to be worse than she really was. She was annoying and a little clueless, but so was half the cast, so...

(I love Friends, don't get me wrong.)

I liked her for the little she was on but I wouldn't want Chandler to be stuck with her longterm.

It was sweet when he was really in love with her and sweet that he bowed out because he didn't want to be that guy that breaks up a family.

I'm rewatching the series on Netflix...almost done with season 3 and Chandler and Rachel are my favorite characters.

I liked Janice. I don't necessarily ship it, but I think they were cute together.

I never got how Chandler suddenly loathed Janice and found everything about her abhorrent, when he'd been obsessed with her only a few seasons earlier.

I know people's opinions change etc but it was like he was two totally separate characters.

He was so whipped after marrying Monica though. Janice/Chandler was way more interesting.

It's called terrible writing.

That was my least favourite thing about the show, the way they destroyed Janice's character and made her less than human in the later seasons.

I never got why we were supposed to think she was annoying. Like, sure, her laugh and the way she talked could be grating at times, but otherwise she seemed like a really nice lady, and just dumping her because of that seems petty.

Oh, wait, it's a sitcom, so it's the perfect reason to break up with somebody. :P
