Re: The trait you dislike in the character you love...

Greg Sanders on CSI is my favorite character but if I could, I'd get rid of his mob interest. I like how enthusiastic he is about it but I have zero interest in the mob and it hijacks a lot of his storylines. Also, it's like his only character trait these days. If he's going to have an episode about him, 9 out of 10 times, it's going to be mob-related.

A lot of that stems from his interest in Vegas history though doesn't it? And let's be real, Vegas and the mob go hand in hand.

Vegas history. Mob stuff. Whatever you want to call it -- that's what I don't care for.

Holy shit, that show is still airing? I've literally heard nothing about it in like two years (I haven't even seen commercials for it)

Yeah, it's on Sundays (maybe why you don't hear much about it). Since Langston left, I've enjoyed it. I don't weep if I miss an episode, but they're still fun.

They're getting a short season this year to make room for CSI:Cyber. This'll be the first CSI that I'm not going to watch. I don't like the main lady or the premise.

I thought about starting to watch again, but then Catherine left. She was always my favorite, so I decided not to bother.

Not sure if you'd like it now or not then, but I've found it to be pretty enjoyable. It seems like they got rid of a bunch of baggage that was hanging around with Catherine, Warrick, Grissom. Even Sara -- they dealt with it and now she seems to have a fresh slate. I think that was necessary.

Personally, I felt like they got the original feel of CSI back when D.B. came on board. (Grain of salt though, since I didn't start watching until like S4.)

Sara was always my least favorite character, but I'm glad they were able to deal with some of the baggage. I may have to give it a try.

Yeah, she was my least favorite too. I've always maintained that the Sara/Grissom relationship did her a disservice. She's had a few hotheaded moments over the last few years but not really that many. She doesn't really get to do that much at all, honestly. She even had a good episode getting into her feelings about her mom and dad recently.

SPOILER:

She and Grissom get a divorce. It's the only wanky thing that's happened the last few years. I think it's done her character a world of good honestly.
