Must depend on one's luck, but it seems every damn time supernatural comes up anywhere (that's not SPN fandom, which I'm not in, again), it's 99% the fans with this moral outrage that anyone could ship Dean and another guy, or dare suggest that there's a possibility that he could be bi. I've literally never accidentally run into the opposite sort of fan. Dean/Castiel shippers, yes, but never anyone who has gone out of their way just to make their point about how their side is totally and unarguably correct and the other side is dumb.
