I'm currently watching this week's Castle, and imagining in my head that it is actually a deal with the devil and that Sam and Dean end up coming in to investigate. This would make for an awesome crossover fic I feel.

Have you ever seen Kolchak: the Night Stalker? (The original one, with Darren McGavin). He's a hard-bitten investigative reporter, complete with a Bogart-style voice over, but the crimes he investigates always turn out to be supernatural. The pilot's particularly good, because it's totally unexpected; it messes with your head.
