Ranty rant rant

After eight years of being a part time student, I finally graduated with a Bachelor's degree this past December. Except not really, because my school has just informed me that, apparently I still need six more credit hours/two classes to actually be qualified for graduation.

So cap and gown bought and used - I did walk the stage and all that jazz, Honors medallion received and yet... no dice.

In fairness to the school, they did send me something implying that I still needed additional classes, but as they also happened to mention the two I was then still in the middle of, I naturally assumed they were meaning those same classes. In fairness to me, the document was really unclear, and I had spoken to two of my academic advisors who declared me ready to graduate based on their program's credit hours.

Essentially, none of us realized that I may need those two more classes, and here I am, the a fucking idiot, waiting for the next semester registration to open, so I can actually/finally/maybe/who the fuck knows at this point graduate.

Man, that sucks. One more semester sounds bad, but it will be over before you know it. You're almost there!
