And since people love the hetero lens quote so much
If it seems out of the blue to you, I think a second viewing of the last two seasons would show that perhaps you were looking at it only through a hetero lens.


Further admission from the creators that season three is the point where they started to consciously include romantic attraction between Korra and Asami in the show.
Can we stop with all these "waah they lied to us!!" claims now?

Except even LGBT people who don't ship it didn't see anything in the last 2 seasons, which makes the "hetero lens" comment nothing more than a slap in the face and just another way for Bryan to fellate himself through his own BS.

.......no??? Not every straight person is going to see every canon straight ship, ever. And not every LGBT person is going to see every canon LGBT ship, ever. However, while I don't think the hetero lens is the reason for everyone who didn't see it not seeing it, lots of LGBT people have a "hetero lens." I'll even admit I have one for shows that I fully expect not to have LGBT content because of censorship, such as shows aimed at children. Such as Korra.
