5. Romana FTW. I really hope they bring her back in the new series, too. (It wouldn't be that hard! I mean, they seem to love their retcons enough, and they've already broken the "no more Time Lords" thing once. And since she is a Time Lord, they can pretty much use any old actress, and...)

21. So, uh, let me get this straight -- you're suggesting that no anime fan ought to be squicked by RPS at all, because RPS involves 3-D people and is therefore inherently less messed up/squicky/weird than 'shipping anime characters? That's... interesting logic.

No, actually, I'm wondering why anime fans find looking at real people that have been paired gross, but don't find all the secrets about people touching themselves to paper & ink odd.

I don't know... Without going into the question of whether it's weird to find drawings sexy, I think the majority of people calling RPS "gross" aren't talking about the attractiveness of the people so much as the idea that, well, these are real people. And personally I don't see what's so wrong with being bothered by that.
