Heh, most Death Note news I get from tegwaygf or my roommate, hakuyama, and NEITHER told me about a Naomi novel!!! :E I do know about the L stuff though, and I'm excited about that. I only recently finished the anime series (http://psycholullaby.livejournal.com/38825.html) having dropped the manga just before L's..."incident" ;-;

The lxnaomi community is so pretty XD Geez, now that this pairing has been brought up, I keep thinking about that scene where Naomi is discussing her relationship with L to Light, and how she worked with L on a previous case. That leaves a nice opening for fans to go in and explore her prior interests in L and how they may have resurfaced after Ray's death given the chance. I like the idea of LxLight, but find it most fulfilling in the canon, much like manga RoyxRiza, but sometimes, fandom is the sole support for a ship. MattxMello for instance. Fandom gave them life as far as I'm concerned. I could see LxNaomi doing the same given some thought.
