Re: PWP

For me, I consider a work PWP if there is no plot to speak of. Like: "x" happened, they had sex, the end. You have a setup and the sex, but no real plot.

If there's a plot in there somewhere, it's Porn With Plot, which is now PWP, despite the ability to make the same acronym. In my book, anyway.

Like I have a fic-in-progress that's 180,000 words. I'm writing along the erotic romance framework, so there's sex in practically every chapter. However, there is also romance, relationship building, politics, eventually a quest.. yeah. So not PWP.

I am in awe of those who can write PWPs that are over 5K, but kudos to them!
