I'm trying to prove that it was not an overreaction it was A) Hyperbole and B) A valid thing to be irritated at. When someone attacks you, you have a right to justify your stance, after which either the attacks continue because your stance has not been justified, or an apology should be forthcoming. Someone who just laughs at you for trying to justify yourself is a fucking ass hole who's only interest in attacking you is to be an asshole.
