Yeah, most of the time, I have NO IDEA what song is being used, so it's just repetitive lyrics that don't mean anything to me.

For me, it's often the same effect as if the fic were using constant references to other media--hilarious to people who KNOW the other media, just annoying to someone outside the clueboat.
