Text: not a secret: I hate songfics - really, truly loathe them. (I may have ranted about this a time or several within fandom.

secret: I wish people would like more songfics… only, using songs that I actually like.

Most likely I’d still hate them. But I’d at least like the chance to start out from a positive bias… maybe even get to understand the appeal.
