Yeah, I am. I've always played ranged DPS and archers are my preference. I am playing on lol!mode though, so even if I'm not super awesome I'll probably survive??

Probably xD Good luck. You can always search some good builds. I love archers too - they're really great in DA2.

If you're archer I personally suggest going Ranger as one of your specializations! When you summon an animal to fight with you, they go in front of you and tank, and distract the opponent while you stay back and fire all the arrows. Obviously you'll want to stay ranged if you play as a pure archer, so having animals on your side really helps - especially considering in the game, there will be a time or two when you have to fight solo, not to mention if you're in a situation where the rest of your party has been knocked out!

Probably wouldn't hurt to equip daggers or something in your second slot. Just in case you didn't know, in the inventory menu, you can equip two different sets of weapons that you can switch between in battle. Have something that you can use if you can't stay back, too. Probably wouldn't hurt to put a couple of points in something besides bow, just in case. But yeah, ranger should help you out.

Plus, seems super appropriate for an elven character!
