So far it's simply a movie/episode within a movie, but this could be testing the waters for a proper sequel. Unusual choice to go with CGI, as I was always hoping for a true animated sequel to do it justice, but it's going to be interesting to see how they translate an almost dialogeless manga with an incredibly slow pace to anime.

I'm thinking the closest that's been done is the first episode of Texhnolyze, and if it matches that I'll be impressed for at least trying something unique.

OMG. My brain is so stupid. For some reason, when I saw this I thought, "Wow. Nickelodeon is rebooting that show? That is crazy." For some fucking reason I was thinking of Kablam!

Huh. I thought it was really cool how they used the CGI for background, but for character animation it looks horrid.
