If Death is featured as a main character, I'll probably read/watch it, even if it's terribly written. Also I love reading up on mythology and superstitions and graveyard lore and such around death. I have loooots of bookmarks and a collection of mythology books.

Also anything to do with cults, conspiracy theories, weird paranormal shit, creepypasta.

But the death thing is very specific, and even I'm like "Hmmm, this is kind of weird, should I be worried about this?"

Oh, lawd, I know!

What's really sad is when people who are very intelligent, or charismatic public figures, get sucked into it. (Like Tom Cruise and David Lynch.)

IDK who keeps giving these psychopathic cult leaders attention. We should just take them all and push them into a lake.

My current favourite is David Icke. I just watched a doco on youtube. It was AMAZING. Like, he sounds reasonable, unless you pay attention to the actual content of what he's saying, and then he's just completely insane.

Yeah, well, cults like to focus on the smart and charismatic. If you want a follower, you want a useful one, right? (Yech.)

Enh, people are really invested in the idea that nobody's mind or will can be tampered with without their consent, and ergo cult leaders aren't the problem, just their victims. I'd be more than happy to shove them all into a lake... or stick them on a plentifully stocked desert isle with only each other for company.

I myself got sucked into the creepy world of Bill Gouldd yesterday. (He added the extra D at the advice of a spiritual advisor. It stands for 'dollars'!) What a smarmy git. And despite being smacked down by the Federal Trade Commission for running a massive scam company, he's STILL at it!

I hadn't heard of David Icke, so I looked him up. I google his name, and first hit is his site, with the following tagline showing up in Google: "British author exposes the reptilian bloodline that rules the world." WELP.

Aaaand now I'm getting sucked down Alex Jones and Stefan Molyneux, and am impressed by how many of these guys were trolls or mocked on We Hunted the Mammoth. Seriously, I'm getting nostalgic here.
