Representation. Don't care.

I just care if the actor is entertaining and good at their job. If they are, hire them. Don't care what color skin they are. I'd rather have an all white straight male cast of great actors than a racially, gender diverse cast of bad actors.

I want to be entertained. That's all.

I care about representation but every once in a while I feel like fandom barks up the wrong tree with it.

Like not every series is going to be a great place to battle for representation. Especially when a series is done by writers who are HORRIBLE at writing minorities and women (in those cases I often prefer they just stick to writing white men.)

I can see the argument for more diverse racial representation but (I'm a woman and) I really do not give a fuck about getting more female characters into things.
