I like to see him getting busted down to size repeatedly and forced to eat crow (or raven), but pure woobie? No, he's best as a dick. Grey area, sure. Occasional ally, sure. White hat hero? fuuuuck thaaaat.

Same here, I love Loki for being the utter shit-head that he is. Sadly fandom(or at least what feels like a large chunk of it) does not share that sentiment.
