Yeah, we kind of had similar classes. And woe is you if you liked drawing anime/cartoons. The "illustration/Fine Art/Graphic Design departments HATED those of us who were more inclined for that stuff. They never took us seriously. I think it's why I'm so demotivated now, on top of my work being belh. And I graduated back in 2011.

Wow. I wonder if that's a general thing, because the art department in my college hated the animation subtracks too, going as far as to say that art isn't "art" if it's commercialized. Though they also hated the graphic design department as well, since it was both commercialized + advertising. Lots of hate and snobbery everywhere.
