Good: She's feminist, anti-racism, anti-homophobia, and against the mistreatment of animals. You know, the usual things people should support. She wants to have these values and writes her books to support those ideas.

Bad: The black comment she made on tumblr which ruins some of her anti-racism stance, her treatment of PTSD in young children I remember being a thing people were over about, and I also remember her portraying very huge age gaps between couples (with men as the older) because that's a personal kink of hers, in a children's book. Though I think most people were upset with it because she only shows the age gap in a positive light? That part I'm unsure of. It was a long time ago I came upon the people upset by that, I didn't much care, and I haven't read the books they were complaining about. Hmm, lastly her treatment of Daja's homosexuality was a great attempt at being supportive but some people it fell a bit short. I thought that one was okay though.
