Enh, how tall are you? My vessl is only 5'4; thankfully, men's jeans in the thrift shops just nudge into 30 length, and we can cuff 32s to make them work. It's also WAY easier for me to figure out the sizing. Sure, they tend to be loose in the waist, but not too bad; that's what my belt's for.

Before I put on weight, though, I had to wear boy's clothes, and I was right in the frustrating area between boy's and men's where NEITHER has much to offer. Thank god for weight gain!

Ooo, I think 5'4 (or maybe it's 5'5?) is considered petite in America. Apparently petite clothes are made with 5'4 and under in mind. As for me, I'm 5 even, so regular jeans need to be altered or I trip all over them. (I can't sew worth shit... I need to learn. My mother used to cut my jeans off, but she can't anymore.)

Maybe I could wear boys jeans. I'll keep that in mind.

Being between sizes is the worst! No matter what you do you can't win. I'm glad you aren't still stuck in that halfway hell.

Yeah, it's worth a shot! (Though boy's sizes often are arbitrary numbers like women's sizes.) Next time you're in a thrift shop or something, dig around the bigger boy's section, see if anything strikes you. You might have trouble finding things without Legos or Pokemon on them, but...
