Megadeth aside (and to be fair my giving up on MD coincided with me giving up/growing out of metal in general, so that's probably a factor) I'm the same way, but I do make exceptions for people convicted of certain crimes -- it's the big reason why I won't ever watch Chinatown despite me being a fan of film noir because fuck me if I'm ever going to support or even feel like I'm supporting a convicted child rapist.

Yeah same. Most things related to creators lives I don't care about at all cause i figure hey art is art, but more extreme "dirt" like pedophilia will make me avoid things whole sale, and feel justified in doing so.

Same movie, same reasons. I sometimes think about pirating it and some of his other films but I have a hard time getting past that feeling even if he's not getting any money.
