Searching for decent fic amongst a lot of mediocre fic is pretty normal for any fandom.

Yea, that's true. I don't necessarily think that Haikyuu!! is worse than other anime fandoms (or certain other fandoms I've been in outside of anime), but I still haven't found much on the fic front that I've enjoyed. Maybe I just haven't found it yet.

Otherwise I've found Haikyuu!! fandom to be quite fun and easy-going. I haven't frequented it lately so maybe I've missed some wank, but the fans seem to be happy and enthusiastic; that automatically makes them more pleasant than some.
