I'm with you; high five, OP!

I also feel similarly about Steven/Wallace although that one at least had some fandom support back in the day. It's just exploded now. It eases the pain of Wallace's hilarious stripper outfit in the remake

Text: The real reason I was so happy about the remake was that a fuck ton of peole jumped on this ship straight off the bat. This was like my first ship back in the day and I used to have such trouble finding fic and art about them. Now it’s like the fanart gods are rewarding me for my years of patience and frustration. It’s fucking fantastic.

I'm having a good time, too -- for me it's one of those ships that just feels fun. There doesn't have to be heavy drama, since it's just as easy to imagine them sniping at each other and other funny scenarios as it is to have them engaged in a bitter rivalry. You can pretty much make it what you want.

I skipped Hoenn back in the day because I was in my 'I don't like Pokemon!' stage.

Now that ORAS came out, I'm neck deep in Hardenshipping and LOVING it. This is the first paring I've ever shipped in this fandom, if you can believe it.
