IA. Lord knows Arthur wasn't perfect but Merlin's devotion to him was one of the best parts of the series imo. Gwen wouldn't have been in line to the throne without Arthur so while sad, things still worked out; I'm sure she was a good Queen.

(Merlin DEF should've mentioned his magic sooner. Arthur would've came to terms with it, and things would've been spiffy.)
