ayrt, yeah, but she still jumps to assuming Elle is sleeping her way up, and in the musical she recognizes a sexually coercive interaction when she sees one. Either is realistic, I just like the musical version better. Also its her who comes to the beauty parlor to tell Elle not to give up, which is just a very nice moment for their relationship in the musical.

I don't remember exactly *what* she saw in the movie, but yeah, it's too bad she jumped to conclusions.

I liked that Elle was basically nice to her from day one, even though she was upset and betrayed. She never took it out on Vivian.

it's been a while since i've seen the movie, but if i remember correctly vivian walked back in to see callahan putting his hand on elle's leg and left before she saw elle push it away.
