Well back in the '60s, there were Manson family members out not too far from where I live.

The only real "haunted" site I know about near me is the Leonis Adobe. I went on field trips there at least 3 times when I was school-age. I never heard/saw anything unusual there. Just a bunch of acorn woodpeckers.

I just went to the hauntings website tabaqui linked to, and this place Old Earth Island Manufacturing is also nearby and apparently haunted. That's not too far east of where I went to high school.
