It would be ONE thing if Mattel were straightening Honey's hair. But an individual doll owner, who has THREE Honey Swamps btw, deciding to straighten one of them, IS NOT A GODDAMN RACIST.

...sadly typical of tumblr, what can I say. The whole thing is ridiculous. Also I mean ultimately it's a DOLL owned by a specific person. Maybe if they straightened her hair and went on a long rant about how "now she doesn't have that gross Black hair anymore" then yeah, that's racist. But especially if they have more than one...
I actually didn't know much about these dolls and I have to say, they're pretty rad. I wish the proportions were a bit less drastic, but I love the variety! There's even a centaur girl and a girl with six arms. I would have loved them growing up.
