Yeah the reason the Curmudgeon is still with me is that after eleven years, it still works just as well as it did when it came out the box. All of its errors, it had from day one. It has survived being drop-kicked across the Pacific Ocean twice. It is slow and noisy and grumpy, but it gets the job done.

At this point, I feel I owe it loyalty until it keels over, of which it shows no sign. It may very well be like my '98 laptop and soldier on until I accidentally electrocute it or something.

*spreads hands* I don't know, just lucky with tech, I guess! Which is funny, since multiples sometimes get the paranormal reputation of destroying electronics.

(That said, I stick to the little brick phones that only do phone things. I am positive I'd destroy a Smartphone in no time flat.)
